3 Office Perks That Spark Creativity

We enjoy many perks working at Candeo Creative. The team members, clients and overall environment are three aspects of what make this place an incredible agency. Even simple things around the office help get creative juices flowing whether you realize it or not! Check out these three office perks that get creativity going:

1. Snacks

Let’s face it, snacks are an important part of focusing on producing the best work you possibly can. When I am feeling run down or low on energy, I know there is a snack nearby. Recently, Candeo has provided us with a Snack Nation subscription, a service that delivers delicious and healthy treats to our office. This sweet and kind gesture makes a big difference in team creativity and productivity.

2. Basketball Hoop

Sometimes you just need to take a break from what you are working on to refocus on the task at hand. Stepping away from the computer or pad of paper is just what you need to get creative juices flowing. One office feature that allows us to step away and stay active is our basketball hoop. It gets you moving and refreshes your thoughts. I am by no means a basketball player, but shooting a few hoops gives me a good laugh and just enough time to step away and get back to my work with new ideas and a clear head.

3. Music and Piano

I don’t know what I would do without music! A song for your mood, whether it’s an acoustic cover or 80’s top hit, is always pumping through our stereo system. Listening to different genres on a daily basis in the office helps get me in my work zone. Our piano is another musical source that encourages creativity. Though I can only play “Take Me Out To The Ballgame,” hearing others occasionally play calms my thoughts and helps me escape from reality for a moment. These moments are needed to regroup and reorganize thoughts to make them as brilliant as possible.
