Candeo Creative Employees

After entering a fresh workplace that encourages fitness goals, I undoubtedly thought, why doesn’t every business do this? Fitness is a great way to keep Candeo Creative’s most important asset, the team, energized.

According to Bob Doyle, a certified personal trainer who creates corporate wellness programs, “encouraging employees to embrace fitness as a lifestyle choice pays off in countless ways.”

Mainly healthy employees are less likely to get sick. People who exercise vigorously create an increase in blood circulation. Dr. Christiane Northrup says that increased circulation creates more white blood cells that kill germs.

With fit employees comes more energy. Regular exercise creates sustained energy throughout the day. This energy allows employees to stay focused on the task at hand, helping employees create the best work they possibly can. All of this positive energy also translates into a positive work environment.

Fit employees have more self-confidence. Healthy individuals have proven that they are dedicated, ambitious and, more importantly, can accomplish goals. If employees stay true to their fitness goals, it is promising that this skill will naturally be brought into the workplace. This self-confidence empowers employees to challenge themselves, which can only lead to more achievements in the workplace.

People who take care of themselves often have the same qualities good leaders have. This could lead to strong leadership qualities in the workplace and more employees able to play those roles.

When you look good, you feel good. This saying couldn’t be more true; fit employees tend to have better attitudes. They tend to have a physical and mental “balance” that results in a more positive attitude in the workplace.

Fit employees are less stressed. Regular exercise releases the physical and emotional tensions that life brings us. A fit employee tends to have lower overall stress levels than an employee who does not exercise regularly.

To ensure employees enjoy their work environment and bring the best of them to their jobs every day, encourage your employees to embrace fitness as a lifestyle choice!
