I’m just going to go ahead and assume that your company doesn’t want your brand to be a secret. You maybe have paid thousands to redesign your logo for better brand-awareness. You possibly have had different promotional campaigns to promote your brand. You might even have brand ambassadors.
Well, hate to break it to you, but if your brand has no web presence, you will start hearing this question all the time. This generation is online. If you do have a web presence, we applaud you.
But how strong is that web presence? You have a website? Good. When was it designed? 1997? Not so good.
I’m not going to take your time trying to convince you that much of the modern world is online, and that you need a web presence. If you won’t accept that, then you’re hopeless (and so is your brand). Just kidding. But seriosuly…
Right now, we know that somewhere around 90% of online users are on some type of social media platform. Be it Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Instagram, Flickr, (or even MySpace) people are on social media.
So don’t you think it’s about time to increase your brand through social media? The fact that people can easily share your brand with their friends on social media should be enough to convince you. On social media, people love to become the first among their friends to know about new brands.

So, if you want to avoid slipping into the Black Hole of Brands Who Believe That Social Media Is A Fad And They Don’t Need It, then it’s time to step into the world of social media. Your future customers will be thankful you did- and so will you.
